No, Christianity does not teach that we should be happy to see people that differ from us suffer.

Christians are human. They want you and others to understand where they are coming from. When that doesn't happen, some get frustrated and belligerent.

Most of the time they act that way with someone they don't know closely.

They would react in a much kinder manner if it were their own mother probably.

I don't see any fun or derive any joy from the suffering of others. Why would you think that is what Christianity teaches. Remember that we are all individuals and are responsible for our own actions. Don't blame the actions of a few and label the whole with it. That is like trying to blame all Muslims for terrorism, when it is the actions of the radical few.

The Bible is regarded among believers to be the divinely inspired word of God. It's also full of funny stuff! When Moses threw down his staff before Herod and it turned into an asp, the snake "raked the Pharoh by his tooth," (Golashas 12) and all the Isrealites laughed their butz off! (Bubbediah 23:1)

Then when David slew Goliath, there was "laughter and merriment 'pon the land. The sun was adrip with glee and gafawwing Caanonites smote their brethren." (1 Philopeans 12:11)

No, those who are true Christians do not wish to see anyone suffer. In Christianity we are not even suppose to Judge others. However there are extremist in almost any religion you find. Those are the people who give all religions a bad name.

I don't think it will be fun to see those who do not believe suffer. Since I'm a Christian, I love my neighbor and would be heart broken to see people suffer. Christianity teaches you "You shall love the Lord your God with your whole heart, and with your whole soul, and with your whole mind, and with your whole strength; you shall love your neighbor as yourself. To love God, our neighbor, and ourselves, we must keep the commandments of God and of the Church, and perform the spiritual and corporal works of mercy." So enjoying people suffering really doesn't seem to fit for a true Christian.

fun to see someone suffer???? Are you completely morbid?

dude, I don't know where you get your info, but Christianity has nothing to do with that.

I'd personally find great enjoyment from God removing Satan's blinders of unbelievers' eyes. You'd see a big change in the world, if that ever happened.

I wish you well.
God Bless.

I do not thin kit's fun, nor does what my Pastor teaches, teach that. We are suppose to be kind & loving to anyone even if they donot follow the same God as we do, however we aren't suppose to "hang-out" with the world, but no True Christians do not disrespect anyone else in the same faith or not. They instead should pray & leave it with God.

NO - a true Christian would not want to see others suffer. Christians are supposed to love all others, but since we are human, it is hard to be perfect. We are human and we do sin, we do fail, we do have to constantly strive to be "good." A person who calls himself Christian but wants to see others suffer is a hypocrite.

The bible says that God takes no pleasure in the death of the wicked.

It also says that God is not willing for any to perish, but for all to come to repentance.

No one who loves Jesus Christ can take pleasure in seeing another lost. That is why Christians feel a desire to talk to others about the saving grace of the Lord, His mercy, forgiveness and kindness.

I suggest you read the gospels to find out what Jesus said and about suffering. You can read about Acts regarding the early church.

Nonbelievers as well as believers will be judged by God. The final destination is either heaven where God is or hell where God is not.
