The human body is not a masterpiece of intelligent design. Hae knee joint is a mess of a bad design. It,s weak and subject to injury. The drainage of the siunuses in the skull is a sloppy design that does not work very efficiently. The sway in the spine makes more sense for a four legged animal than a two legged one. The entry point of the optic nerve is the wrong way creating a blind spot. Crustacians have a better design.
In other words, the design of the human body is not nearly the intelligent design that most of us think it is.

No. Those are two contradictory ideas. If you believe in intelligent design, you would know that the designer wouldn't create something that wouldn't survive.

Intelligent Design is a crock of bull. Why would you create something knowing that it will die. If someone created all the animals, they would create just enough to keep them going forever, unless this diety is a mean f*ck and likes to see little things die.
