If your food is taking on a personality... it's time to call in a professional hit man. The lucky things about fridges is that they have no windows, and only one door... so you can surprise the devils, capture them quickly, and throw them out to the curb.

You should clean out your fridge regularly say once in two week if not every week. Try and finish things for the week and only stock up for a week if you are living in a warm country. Otherwise stock for 2 weeks and you will be fine. Check out your fridge. Maybe it is not working properly. You have to be careful with this thing.

I'd say reanimated food is a pretty good sign you need to clean out the fridge.
