Yes, I do believe in Heaven and think my family (with all my beloved pets) and an angel with a good sense of humor will be there to greet me.

I believe in heaven and I would like to be greeted by all the dead Presidents of the United States starting in order from first to Regan. I would also like to be greeted with a basket full of puppies AND a basket full of kittys. No, make that a Big basket full of puppys and kittys because it's heaven and all Gods creatures get along. I would also like to be greeted by all my favorite rock stars that overdosed too soon. Those sillys! And lets see, what else........do porn stars go to heaven?

Heaven and Hell are myths created as a way for Priests to enforce good behavior on the people. The threat of hell and the promise of heaven were designed to keep people from performing criminal acts back when there was no police force or other body of enforcement.
For the most part, it worked fairly well in in small towns.

I believe that when a person dies, he or she enters another state of existence in which that person is either rewarded or condemned. Those rewarded are ushered into an existence far superior to their earthly existence; those condemned, to an existence as vile as their present earthly life or worse.
In both of these states of existence, a new "life" begins with the opportunity to continue to grow from there to God's definition of perfection.
"Heaven" is one name for the better existence; "Hell", for the worse existence.
Of course, I would want to meet the great spiritual teachers face to face; especially Jesus.

I would like Josh Groban to sing to me when I arrive. I don't really believe in that type of heaven though, but heck, if Josh was there waiting for me, I'd be willing to change my belief.

I do believe in Heaven, but I don't expect to meet anyone, becasue you aren't supposed to recognize anyone in Heaven, that every one is at bliss and at peace.
