I'm getting married and I want to find really nice wedding bands at a wholesale value. My parents are paying for the rings so I thought it would be nice if my fiancee and I gave them a break.

Bizrate is a great online shopping search engine to find the best prices. They also allow for the rating of vendors so you can see if people liked their service or not. Here is a copy of the link of a search I did. I have bought a few items from websites like these and had no problems. Jewelry is hard though because you won't get to try it on and see how it looks through the web.

I highly suggest that you dessist from this endeavor for you can never tell the true quality of jewelry from an on-line picture or description. Ask your married friends, specially those who wear much jewelry. If you are in the Los Angeles area, the best place to shop for jewelry is the jewelry district on 7th street in downtown. Don't forget to bargain.

I don't know how good the price is compared, but the company is reputable. Blue Nile http://www.bluenile.com/

Also you might laugh, but try Costco(the store or the website). They have good deals on good diamonds. However a lot of women aren't very sensible about these things and this might not work.
