There's a story about it on Yahoo:

LONDON (AFP) - More than a million Cadbury's chocolate bars are being taken off the shelves in shops across Britain over fears they may be contaminated with salmonella.

The recall centred on seven of the confectioner's most popular products -- Dairy Milk, Dairy Milk Turkish, Dairy Milk Caramel, Dairy Milk Mint, Dairy Milk 8, the Dairy Milk Buttons Easter Egg and the Freddo bar.

"This is being done purely as a precautionary measure, as some of these products may contain minute traces of salmonella," a Cadbury spokesman said Friday.

"Cadbury has identified the source of the problem and rectified it, and is taking steps to ensure these particular products are no longer available for sale."

The contamination was traced to a leaking pipe -- since repaired -- at Cadbury's Marlbrook plant, near Leominster in west central England, which generates 97,000 tonnes of milk chocolate crumb base material every year.

"Cadbury expects to have fresh stocks of these products back on the market in the near future," the spokesman said, adding that anyone who has eaten any of the recalled products need not be concerned -- and can ask for a refund.

Yes, it was on the BBC so it must be true(!). It's a suspected salmonella outbreak, so there's nothing definite and they've recalled the affected bars. I'm not too worried to be honest, although if I was it might help with my chocolate addiction!

I have not heard of that. I'm going to look in to it. I want to know how it happened and if it could happen to another brand. I love chocolate.

Don't be ridiculous.
You're probably the kind of person who dashes out and buys 50 loaves of bread when there is the teeniest bit of snow for example. You lot are easy to spot (i.e. very stupid).
