It's like every nice girl I meet we get along very well and it seems like she likes me, she's with someone else. Are they playing with my mind,just being nice or is this just wishful thinking?there's this girl we'll call her uhh........ suzie, yeah suzie. well anyway suzie and I are begening to become very good friends.And I starting to get the feeling she likes me because of the things she does. but the thing is, the other day I went over her house and I happend to see pictures of her and another guy. and Im 100% positive that wasn't a relative. Im scared to ask her if she is seeing anyone cause Im gonna look real stupid if she is ((and thats just plain cruddy to try to talk to someone else girl)) and if she isnt, I'll never know cause Im too chicken to say anything. my head hurts.....

P.s. thx for all your help. I do think of it as a privilege to be with some one like her not a right. And it's not like she just said "Hey, whats your name?" and I started following her around like some love sick puppy. She flirts with me and that's what made me think she likes me. Oh what do I know, girls are complicated.........

Ask her if she is dating anyone ... once she answerer's you can decide where you want this friendship to go.
This is a learning skill for you to develop ... don't treat it like "You deserve" the date ... treat it like it is your "Privilege" to be her friend ... and "Privilege" to date her (if she's single and interested too) ... if she's dating someone else, it should not be embarrassing for you; after all it still opens the door of opportunity to you ... say she's not getting along with this guy .. .she'll know that a friend like you has interest and this may persuade her to separate from him and give you a chance.
How will you ever know if you keep trying to read minds???

My best friend is a guy...how do you know this guy in the picture isn't just a friend? Or maybe he's a former boyfriend who things ended on good terms with (like say he had to move away and they stayed pen pals)? You'll never know unless you ask her. And if she does have a boyfriend, hey, at least you have another friend. If she thinks you're a good person, she'll be happy to have you as a friend and point you out to her single friends. You've got nothing to lose, but if you don't ask, you'll never know.

Ask her! It could be a cousin, best friend, or past BF. I have pics of my ex up just because I'm too lazy to take them down and we parted nicely so I don't have any hard feelings, reminds me of good times. If you are getting to be that close then ask her next time you're over at her house, just act like you're looking around the room and then ask who is in the picture with her (ask nonchalantly, like you don't really care). That'll give you your answer. If it is her BF, then decide about keeping her as a friend or not. For future reference - ask early on if a girl is involved, not awkwardly straightforward, but just casually work it in.

you said you're scared to ask her if she's seeing anyone else cuz u'll feel stupid if she is..you should ask her.because if u dont..leading yourself on when she's not interested in you like that you will feel stupid in the end..so its better to get the truth out right now...so go ahead and ask her..just come out the blue..and say "hey i was curous are you talking to anybody...do you have a boyfriend" or something like that..it doesnt hurt to ask her..if u dont u will be hurt in the long run..just because she ACTS like she likes u doesnt mean ANYTHING because females can lead a guy on when they are really not even intrested in him seriously..we could make you think whatever you want to think..juts because shes nice to you or does something doesnt mean she likes you..why are you waisting your time liking her and you see her with some one else? maybe you should hang out for a while..just sit back and be friends with her..dont come on too strongly..just wait for her to make a move..you REALLY going to feel stupid if u keep thinking shes interested when she juts looks as you like a friend..you would have waisted your time and energy on somebody thats not even interested on being more then just your friend...you might want to be real with her..or just ask her..who the guy in the picture was..i dont see any harm to that..get to know her..ask her what she wants in a guy or even if she has a boyfriend or looking for one..just throw little questions out there everyonce in a while..dont go overboard or tell her your feelings you might scare her a way...so do it on a friendly thing..let things grow..things happen for a reason so if its meant to be its meant to be..good luck! hope i helped.

ask her if she considers you as a really good friend to hang out with or are you dating material.simple put you must ask! if she has a boyfriend maybe she is misleading you? this kind of girl if this is the case is not for you! honesty is the best policy. save yourself time and headaches by asking. you wont be foolish. if anything if? she is dating shes the one who should feel this way.

you sound like you are young....this is normal what you are going through. if you want to know who the guy was, just casually ask her...it's better to know upfront then to keep wondering...when the time is right, the right girl will come along. be patient with yourself. you are not alone.... good luck
