Do what will make you happy. That is the overall answer - but don't just take a blind leap, either. Make sure that you can earn a living where you want to move to, that you have shelter or a home, that you can afford to pay your bills. If not - work on a game plan that will allow you to get to that point. Because living in paradise isn't going to work if you can't afford to pay for it. But don't stop until you have achieved it - set your goals and work towards them

And that line goes:
"Big wheels keep on turnin', Proud Mary keep on Burnin'
Rollin ..... Rollin ..... Rolling on the River.."

I think you should go to where you are the most happy! stress levels drop and over all health is improved. Not only that, but, life seems to slow down and become easier when you make a move like that. ( by no means am i a saint) but if you have trust in god, you will never go with out. Even if you leave the money in the city, and chase you country dreams...I found my self faced with that same question... i hated my job. the desk the computer the boss. i moved, and now......... well, life is good!

I'm dealing w/ the same thing. It's hard to leave a good job and start over, but what fathead said above makes a lot of sense. If you have a place in mind you want to live, try and take a few weeks off and take a vacation there. Do the normal day-to-day things and really see if the area is for you. That will makle you decide. That's what I will need to do. Best of luck!

HELL YES. I love the country and wouldn't even raise a cat in the city least of all a child so if you plan to ever have a family get the hell out of the poluted dirty crime infested city and get you and your family or potential family on a nice plot of land bigger than a quarter acre and live it up amongst the cows and the horses and the goats and the chickens and then turkeys and whatnot

If your heart is in the country then your home is in the country. Maybe you'll have to take a lower paying job and have to downsize, but the peace of mind you will have will make up for it all ! There is nothing like country living !

you know what i say is that money don't make you happy. you could have all the money in the world and if your not were you want to be it don't make a thing and besides the fact that you cant take money with you when you die, so why wast your life making more then what you need. i say take a weekend trip to were ever it is that you want to go look at places to live, jobs etc.....
and if it has opportunity for you to make enough money to live and still be happy with your life then pack up and go for happiness is not based on money( unless your a vary materialistic person)
well good luck i hope that my answer well help you.

Is there a job in the country that you are speaking of? As long as you have a means of support, you and everyone around you are best served where you are the happiest

I'm really not sure, but I gotta give ya credit for getting that CCR song stuck in my head:

"Left a good job in the city
Workin' for the man every night & day
Never lost one minute of sleepin'
Worryin' 'bout the way things might have been...

Big wheels keep on turnin,' proud mary keep on rollin'
Rollin', rollin', rollin' on the river..."

I hope you get cursed with hearing that song over & over again in your head now lol

you have to go where you want to be, sometimes this involves a sacrifice... and it is a big life change.

You can always go back to the city if you're unhappy in the country, but you can't look back on your life and wish you had gone with your heart and not mis-spent the last few years of your life.
