I'm currently interested in learning the main language from Finland, Finnish, and wanted to see if there was some type of resource out on the internet that would guide me in a good direction. Thanks in advance.

I'm not sure of any software or books that are quality help, but I do know that Finnish is hard since it is unlike most European languages. It is part of the Finno-Ugric family (with Estonian and Hungarian) unlike most other European languages in the Indo-European family. Don't listen to the person who said that it is similar to Swedish because they are not alike at all, aside from some loanwords due to the close proximity of the two cultures. Rosetta Stone, I know, does not have Finnish. I also don't trust the program that Rosetta Stone provides for any language.
