Blood is best served warm, it coagulates as it cools and becomes more like a pudding. Anti coagulants are really just adulterants and are unwanted. Fresh really is best. Those really really tall black fellows in Africa who herd cattle prefer it mixed about half and half with milk if they can get milk. I am assuming your question was intended seriously, even though it is to most people a bit ghoulish and gory. Yes blood is Very nutritious, try English Black Pudding, Haggis, German Blood Sausage, and many more delicacies from the nations of the world

I'm not entirely sure other than being grossed out by the idea. One thought is that the gastric juices in the digestive tract may destroy all of blood's theraputic benefits. I don't think blood was ever designed to be processed through the digestive system.

Do you drink blood? Or blood with ice? I don't want to get an infection or a disease from someone else's blood. That goes beyond gross.

raw blood doesn't keep fresh very well, and like all raw foodstuffs is hard to digest and a health risk.

but cooked blood - in the form of black puddings - is cheap, easy to prepare, and delicious.
