No - according to the book I read misquoteing jesus this story isnt in the oldest copies of Mark. Mark was the oldest written Gospel.

You should not think of it as a game. But yes she realized that he still lives. That's what showed him peoples true colors. Some people didn't even believe that he was Jesus. Thomas had to touch his wombs after several other occurrences that he did not believe. Some other witnesses still didn't believe either. That's shows who really believed and who didn't.
