If she considers him the perfect guy, how stuck is she in that opinion of him? Could he do no wrong in her eyes? How would telling her or not telling affect your relationship with her? Think through both ways. It could put a wedge between you and her, it could draw you closer together, I don't know your guys' relationship. Does she value your opinion about things? Would she put you above any guy she dated? Or vice versa? Would she think that you are trying to break them up? How honest are you about things? Would she believe you?
I can answer what you should do, but you have to decide what is more important to you: keeping the peace, holding your tongue for your mother's happiness, or being honest and open about the creep and creating drama.
BTW, he is a creep, and you shouldn't have to worry about him being around you or your mother. Might he force her or anybody else to have sex with him?? Tell your mother. Tell a trusted friend or a pastor first for support, then report him to the authorities. If you are a minor, he could be charged with rape, no matter if it actually was or not. But I think there is a statue of limitations, so act quickly. Don't let him do that to anybody else. Forget your mother and what she thinks of him, you know how he really is.

The best thing to do is to tell your mother what happened, so that she won't be building a false relationship with a man whom she thinks loves her. IT is not worth loosing a relationship with the women who brought you into this world, over a man with no morals.
What if you don't tell her, and he does, then she would have every right to be upset with you, and I am sure that she would not trust you anymore.
A man and a relationship is never worth loosing the love and trust of your mother. She may forgive you and him, and continue on with the relationship.
It depends on how she feels about him, and rather she can trust him again. If you are old enough, you should think about moving out, and getting your own place, or get yourself a room mate.

I don't know how old you are or were when you were pressured into having sex with the guy -- but your mom needs to know. She can't have a solid relationship with him unless she knows everything about him, and obviously he won't be telling her anytime soon. She deserves to know what kind of man she is involved with -- tell her. You will survive the drama.

You need to tell her. There's no reason not to. How can you stand to look at him where you live? The sooner you tell her and get it over with, you will feel more relived. It's not safe to be around someone like that. Don't bottle up and hide from it, it will only get worst later on. Just be strong and stand up for yourself.

Dear, dear, dear........ don't you know honesty is the best policy?
You have got to tell your mother as this is a very serious and offending event. Do not fear to do this as your mother had entered into a false relationship and must be deviated from it. SO TELL YOUR MOM ALL WHAT HAD HAPPENED.

I can't believe you are even thinking of not telling her. Your mom has to know what kind of person she is dating.
