Obviously, judging by these answers, Celtic Park is in a parallel universe where Glasgow has moved to Dublin therefore is not part of Great Britain and should not fly the British flag! Deluded!

It is a curious dichotomy that Celtic number amongst their celebrity support some of the most staunch Unionists in the country. John Reid, (Union ) Jack McConnell and a myriad of Glasgow councillors spring readily to mind. These individuals seem to be trying to salve their conscience by appearing to support a club set up to assist the downtrodden Irish whilst happily collaborating with the English in the exploitation of their own countrymen (and women)

Celtic were founded by Irish priests for the poor Irish immigrants in Glasgow in 1888. They play in Scotland. Why should the Union flag fly there ? They stick with what they relate to. Not what they abhor !

Guess you got the answers you sought but the support of both Rangers and Celtic need to shun this mindless sectarianism and concentrate on the football. After all you have 2 great sides who do not deserve their names dragged into the gutter with the clots who seem to think their is a link between bigotry and football. UEFA have already warned Rangers. Dont let it be Celtic next.

The answers posted to this question just show how small minded both sides of the Old Firm are. We are living in the 21st century - in Britain (like it or leave), we need to get beyond mindless bigotry.
