I didn't start until I was 38, competed internationally (Ireland) at age 40 (placed 5th out of 37), became a national kata champion at age 42. You are definately not too old. Make sure to stretch before and after class, and drink plenty of water after class. And have fun!

I'm 37 and started when I was 26. I will do this for the rest of my life. I have trained with guys who started in their 70's (and they were very good)

It's never too late to do something you love and have fun!

No. Some people start martial arts in their 50's and still become black-belts. It will be more challenging however. Become an educated martial artist. Research stretching methods and physical training regimens. With enough drive you might find yourself surpassing your younger counterparts.

i think your lucky your getting into it this early in your life.. ive heard that from some other "old men" that they wish they started at your age... and they are good
