I say at least 3-6 months depending on how often you interact with each other! You need to find out all the details about them and if you still want to be around them then that is step 1 - step 2, go on a trip with them somewhere, people are always different in that setting - if it is still bliss, then you very well may have found love.
Never fall for love at 1st sight, cuz there is no way to know a person thoroughly enough to love them, Love Takes Time, it's not instant coffee u-know....slow brewed is best anyway!!

Depends on a lot of factors. How each person is, the circumstances in which they meet...my boyfriend and I started telling each other we loved each other when we were right before our year mark, but for us, it felt absolutely right. Other people I know have fallen in love in a split second. Most of those people however have since broken up or divorced. Time is the only true measure of if love will last. Most of these people who profess to be in love after just a short amount of time are infatuated. They are incorrectly identifying it as love. It certainly can turn into love with time, but if one rushes the love thing too quickly, it may very well just die off in the infatuation stages.

Lust or infatuation is often mistaken for love and can be instantaneous. This is what is meant by "love at first sight."
Love, however, is deeper than that and is born of respect and friendship. Love is an admiration you develop as you get to know someone's soul. Love isn't needy or desperate. Love feels secure and not jealous. Love is something you feel for your best friend too, but when its your mate, you have the friendship and the lust and a desire to build a future together.
It takes time, months, sometimes years to get to know someone that deeply.
So true love takes time.
And..yes love can start with infatuation...but it takes maturity to see the difference.

love is what you make of it and depending on your definition of love it may take a second to a lifetime to fall in love. define love and you will have your answer, hey some people fall in love everyday because love to them may be just that attraction and pull you get towards someone. when you do finally fall in love , i mean ultimately fall in love you will know because it is a feeling that you can never miss, just like feeling the need to use the loo, you can never miss that feeling.

Falling in love took me a couple of weeks, and i mean head over heels life-changing everything
but loving, that takes time and effort and forgiveness and humbleness and dedication, and yeah, time

Falling in love is not based upon timing, it can take forever and it can happen in split seconds. It is all based on how you're feeling and what you're feeling it really doesnt matter when.

It depends on the situation between you and your partner.
Oh and if you get on well helps. Generally if they're nice to you then it's easier to fall in love with them.

its different for everybody.I think that you should be with a someone for at least a year before you are ready to say "i love you" because you cant fully know someone in just a few weeks or months.

I don't think you have to let any certain amount of time pass before you know. You just sort of.....know:)
