After all, the legal citizens most likely paid into taxes or their families have for probably several generations and they hit on hard times. How long have illegal citizens paid into federal taxes and does it even matter, since they are illegal?. Don't misunderstand, I know there are U.S. citizens who also abuse the system, but isn't that irrelevant? Isn't that something the USA should worry about, our business, not illegals? Is that any reason to allow the illegal immigrants to abuse it to the max, when they aren't even legal citizens?

Our social programs EXIST to benefit our citizens. Those are the ones who are SUPPOSED to get it.

I think the real question is how the heck illegal immagrants are getting anything! Shoudn't the USA pick them up and deport them should they ever try to collect welfare? All I know is...I'm a middle class worker that can't get assistance for college because all the money is going to the people that came from another country, got pregnant in high school, or for one reason or another are poor. I am a law abiding american citizen that pays my own way. Why is it more important to help illegals rather than REAL americans. You know...the ones that are giving 30% of their check to help people that have decided it's so much easier to just leech off of everybody else. To answer your original question...my answer is no.

They are breaking the law to be here in the first place so why should they be rewarded with the benefits of being a citizen or being here legally. They should be entitled to NO benefits for anything, including public schools, medical, etc., and deported back to their countries.

If I move to there country as an illegal, I have no rights. they shouldn't get any rights here either, and if they stand in the middle of L.A. waving a Mexican flag, they should be tossed.

it's bad enough when my tax dollars go to welfare PERIOD. I do NOT want it going to someone that doesn't have the right to be here.

If we could get rid of all the illegals, then we could shut down the welfare programs and put everybody to work...we would have all those jobs available that "americans won't do". Bet they would do them if we cut off their free welfare payments. We have to get the illegals out first.

Great question, I agree if you are here illegally, you should NOT be allowed any kind of benefits. ZERO!!! Our policies need to be changed, the money that is spent on illegals could be better used in other areas....

Illegals are technically foreign criminals, and as such are not entitled to anything in this country, except possibly a fair hearing before an immigration tribunal before they're shipped back home!

Now here is when it gets interesting,
Legal citizens try to get it and are refused, Illegals try and are granted, Whats wrong with that picture..
