Our bodies will rot. That's the only factual statement anyone can make.

God has given all people the wisdom to know the difference between the motive of love and the motive of selfishness or self righteousness. Those that live outside the laws of love will parish in the second death or will burn up and become nothing. kind of a state of eternal dreamless sleep. The pain of burning will be for a short time but the result... will be an eternal one.

This is an answer that many to this very day still cannot except....Jesus, Mohammad, The Great Buddha, Mother Theresa, John Smith, and the many many great messengers will be there to greet you and you will be lead to the source of Love...which in some languages is "GOD"....then you will be embraced with all of God's love. You will be understood and comprehended for all the lessons (mistakes) that you chose to act upon and thanked for all the times you gave it your best.
Many will read this and say "no! no! it can't be!!" "Only my religion and only my messenger is the true one". Only when you have crossed that precious threshold...you will finally see that there have been no words or no books in the earth plane that could possibly come close to understanding God. They have been great attempts brought through imperfect filters.
We are headed home everyone. So don't worry about it...just do your best, learn from your mistakes and get on with living. Just know with all your faith (not through any book) that God is definitely with you.

I believe that if you live your religion, or live what you are taught, to the best of your ability, that is all that matters.
Out of the millions of people who have lived on the earth, only a very small percentage have even heard of Christ. The fact that people say that to get to heaven you have to accept Christ as your savior is ludicrous. Of course, it never hurts, but I don't think those who don't accept that truth when they are alive are going straight to hell.
God is merciful. He will look on the whole person and what the person is like in his heart. That is all that matters.

Muslims will go to Islam heaven/afterlife whatever. Jews will go to whatever their place is, same with Hindus and Bhuddists.
They won't all go to hell. Hell is only for Christians.

Yup....only the CHOSEN ONES will enter the kingdom of God.
The remaining umpteen trillion human beings will burn in hell forever....regardless of whether they were given the opportunity to find Jesus and Christianity or not.
Their lives are going nowhere, mean nothing and their loving spirits will burn in hell for all eternity.
That's one Loving God, I'll tell ya'.

Wow, 'Doctor B' got really mad at you for asking such a sensible question and 'RandyGE' doesn't get it:
There are literally MILLIONS of people who have NEVER HEARD of Jesus and have NEVER BEEN TOLD that they must accept him or go to hell. Simple people who don't read, live in small villages with little or no contact with the outside world. And they think that their God is going to send those people to hell because of ignorance???
The arrogance of fundamentalist Christians is simply STAGGERING.

Romans 1 says people are without excuse. It can be biblically demonstrated that if you know there is a God, and you want to hear about him, God sends someone. In Acts, we have the Ethiopian eunuch, as well as Cornelius in Acts 10. If you do not accept Jesus as your Saviour, the only alternative is Hell, separation from God....it is sad...

The same thing happens to all things when they "die."
The evolution process continues on just like it did before they were born and they eventually become part of the earth. And, life continues in a different form. Evolving into other forms of "life" throughout eternity.

"Jesus is the only way" simply means that there is one truth, not that it is an exclusive club, whose criteria for joining is based on one's disavowing all other forms of thought.
The same thing will "happen" to non-Christians that "happens" to Christians...they will see that the truth is infinitely better than what they had been taught, or the way they had interpreted ancient words.

Because they have not accepted God's gift of salvation; to have their sins removed from them, they will face the consequence of their sins. They will be separated from the face of God, they will be where there will be gnashing of teeth and weeping.
God took the initiative in offering this gift - we get into heaven by God's grace. We can make a choice, to accept this eternal gift or face the penalty for our own sins.
