It's a hard one to accept. I need it quite a bit of space myself. Double standards are tough to overcome.

Are we breaking up? What did I do? Is there someone else? Yes, I would take it the wrong way too. What do you need space and time for? Time will pass but he'll still be the same person, just confused on why you wanted it.

be careful what you ask for you give a guy space he will fill it with a girl in no time so if space is what you want then you cannot be mad when you get replaced, he will probably take it hard for a day or two but you'll be replaced quicker then you think good luck and if you dont want space anymore look me up lol

no i wouldn't ahve. I understand that you need time and space to think about soemthing or do something. He really shouldn't take it as an insult cause you need your time alone. tell him you still love him and tell reasons why u need time and space away.

yes, a would take it as a huge insult. guys don't think in terms of time and space they think in terms of here and now. if your here why do you need time, a decision to a guy is just that a decision. we make them instantly and can't understand why girls need freaking time and space to do it. either do it or don't do it. thats how guys think.

I would take it that you were uncertain about your feelings..But sometimes when someone says this they mean they need time and space to find someone else...In either case If i were you boy friend I would give you lots of room...

It usually means "I want to screw other guys" and that is how he will take it, even if thats not what you want.
4 out of 5 times though, it has something to do with sex.
