Maybe not Mexicans, but what do you have to say about the Salvadoran gangs that are from El Salvador?? ms-13, they are starting to be everywhere. Had on the news awhile back that most of the higher ups in ms 13 are illegals....so the gang thing isn't an "American thing" as you put it.

hey saul ...i suggest you check out "seeks out truths" link ms 13 started in el salvador......ss

If Mexicans don't do drugs, why did they just try to legalize them? The drug cartels are huge to the point where officials here are worrying there might be starting to be a 'Columbiazation' of Mexico.

Granted that officials have been wrong before, I think you are wrong about drugs. Also there is a ton of corruption, kidnapping and extortion. You only have to go onto the State Department web page for warnings to tourists.

We don't want that here. That is why we need screening.

They are both nasty and worthless and tend to be criminals...who cares what the difference is? You allege that Mexicans don't do drugs. That is a lie. I have seen them doing them and selling them here. You sure don't know much about your own people do you? Also, most of the drugs that enter into this country are from Mexico. CNN News says that all of the time.

Yes, Dateline recently did a story about one of the most notorious gangs which has roots in El Salvadar. But, as you said, not Mexico.

Then why do we keep hearing about all this killings in Mexico between govt officials and drug kingpins?? Seriously, there have been a rash of killings over the last few years attributed to drug trade.

Very true. Although, like in every country, we have drug problems in Mexico, but not as bad as in the U.S. About the gangs, they're not common here, but I'm sure there are some, again...not as bad as in the U.S.

Yes Mexican Americans are real Mexicans and this is why Selena, Jenni Rivera and Cain Velasquez were and are big in Mexico and get greeted with open arms.

Cain Velasquez in Mexico.
