how do you now if you are going to heaven?

Nobody knows if your going to heaven or hell. But you can do your best to get to heaven. Read the bible to learn what you have to do. There are rules you have to follow and its not going to be easy. No one is perfect that's why he created repentance and forgiveness. If you repent for something then that's telling God you will never do it again and if you ask for forgiveness than that's saying you are not sure if you're going to do it again but you will try not to. The more good things you do the better you're chances of getting there. Some people just barley get in and don't even get a crown but why would you want to just barley get into a place of rejoicing but want to be the first in line into a new bar or concert that has nothing to do with GOD?

That's step one. Believe. Step two is to confess with your mouth that Jesus Christ is Lord. Step three is to Repent.

Then Peter said unto them, repent and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sin and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. Acts 2:38

If we confess that Jesus is Lord, repent (which is confessing sin and turning your back on it, hopefully to never do it again) and walk on in faith, we are saved. We will go to heaven.

That's called being born again - spiritual birth. At that point a person is a spiritual baby. The baby needs to be fed and grow. From that point it comes down to walking the walk. You have to read the Bible, pray, and learn all you can.

The cool thing is, it's all about love. Describing this is like trying to describe how to get married. It can sound rather dull and emotionless. . .you go to the church, walk up the aisle. . .say some words. . .sign some papers and you're done. That just doesn't begin to describe the whole picture! This is the beginning of a love relationship with your Creator! You're born into new life. . .and engaged to the Son! The excitement comes in when you realize your destiny! We, the church, are the Bride of Christ! We have one huge, fantastic wedding to look forward to!

It's quite easy actually. You may have heard of this guy named Jesus. He was born about 2000 years ago to a carpenter and his wife, but he wasn't the carpenter's baby. He was the Son of God. He laid his life down for us and died on the cross for our sin so that we may live eternally. The wages of sin is death and Hell, but by accepting that Jesus was a real man who was the Son of God, died for us, and rose on the third day, and accepting him into our life, we are saved.

Once you pray the sinner's prayer, you know you are saved and going to Heaven. If you want to get saved, just pray something along these lines:

"God, I'm a screw up. I sin. I know that without you I am bound for Hell. I know that your son, Jesus, came and died for my sins, and I ask you to come into my life and change me into who you want me to be. As he laid his life down for me, I lay my life down for you. Thank you God, Amen."

I John 5:13 "These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God, that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God." You know what that means? If you have trusted Christ as your Saviour, and believed that He forgave you of all of your sins, you are saved!

human souls dont go to heaven. we sleep when we die, and the righteous awake in tranquility on a rejuvenated earth. hell is simply not waking up. sleeping forever.
