I think it's important to first say that I am a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of latter-day Saints (aka LDS or Mormon). My beliefs come from that doctrine, which I believe is true. Also, I do not wish to confuse you further, but instead commend you on trying to search for the truth.
Jesus Christ is the Jehovah spoken of in the Old Testament. He built this world and all that are in it. God, meaning, God the Father, or Heavenly Father is an entirely different person altogether, and the Holy Ghost is also a separate being. He/Christ is the only literal/physical Son of God, however, we are all (the good and the bad) Heavenly Father's children, because He made us spiritually before we were made physically by our parents.
As for the Trinity doctrine, it seemingly got its start when people mistranslated the Bible. The passage most often quoted is something to the effect that God is Christ in human form and His(Christ's) spirit is the Holy Ghost. What I believe was trying to be said (and may have been said, but just not translated correctly) is that God (Heavenly Father) is perfect, He knows all and is all powerful. Through His plan He wants us all to return to Him, however, He knew that we would mess up and that a Savior (Christ) would be needed to provide a way back through the Atonement. Christ, being the first spiritually born and the only physically born of God desires only to please His Father, so He did what needed to be done out of love for His Father, as well as love for us/all mankind.
I'm afraid I don't have Bible references for this, however, there are scripture references found in The Pearl of Great Price and the Doctrine & Covenants, which are books of scripture found in the Church of Jesus Christ of latter-day Saints. I have linked to the website containing The Pearl of Great Price.

With the trinity, you have the Holy Spirit and when the disciples were filled with the Holy Spirit they weren't filled with some electric force but with God as part of the trinity because at that point they were taught many things which cannot be taught by a force but a person namely God. The Holy Spirit in places spoke to the apostles and is therefore God - not a force.
There is also a reference highlighting this (that the Holy Spirit is God) where Peter talks about God and the Holy Spirit which can be found in the JW's bible and the reference is below.

The Trinity was invented by the Nicene Council in 325 CE (ad).
Please note the previous comment cites the perverted passages inserted by the Catholic church.
The Catholic church edited the bible to make it conform to their doctrine of "Jesus is God."
Sir Isaac Newton, one of the most brilliant men who ever lived, became a Unitarian when he discovered the Catholic church and King James had both perverted the bible:
"An Historical Account of Two Notable Corruptions of Scripture is a dissertation by the English Mathematician and Scholar Isaac Newton. First published in 1754, twenty-seven years after Newton's death, it reviewed all the textual evidence available from ancient sources on two disputed Bible passages, at 1 John 5:7-8 and 1 Timothy 3:16."

True Christians understand that Jesus and Jehovah are
two distinct persons. Almighty Jehovah God created
Jesus as His firstborn son.
(Colossians 1:15) the firstborn of all creation
(Mark 10:18) Jesus said to him: 'Why do you call me
good? Nobody is good, except one, God.
(Revelation 3:14) the Amen says, the faithful and true
witness, the beginning of the creation by God
(Philippians 2:5-6) Christ Jesus, who, although he was
existing in God's form, gave no consideration to a
seizure, namely, that he should be equal to God
(John 8:42) Neither have I come of my own initiative
at all, but that One sent me forth
(John 12:49) I have not spoken out of my own impulse,
but the Father himself who sent me has given me a
commandment as to what to tell and what to speak
(John 14:28) I am going my way to the Father, because
the Father is greater than I am
(1 Corinthians 15:28) But when all things will have
been subjected to him, then the Son himself will also
subject himself to the One who subjected all things to
him
(Matthew 20:23) this sitting down at my right hand and
at my left is not mine to give, but it belongs to
those for whom it has been prepared by my Father
(1 Corinthians 11:3) I want YOU to know that the head
of every man is the Christ; ...in turn the head of the
Christ is God
(John 20:17) I am ascending to my Father and YOUR
Father and to my God and YOUR God.
(Deuteronomy 6:4) Jehovah our God is one Jehovah
(1 Corinthians 8:4-6) There is no God but one. For even though there are those who are called "gods," whether in heaven or on earth, just as there are many "gods" and many "lords," there is actually to us one God the Father, out of whom all things are, and we for him

i do no longer understand what you're speaking approximately, i want too yet, i do no longer see a sparkling question. yet while you're rather drawn to certainty then study why do you call the Messiah Jesus understanding that the scriptures say (No different call below heaven given between adult men wherein we must be saved) whilst upon added study you detect that J isn't latin or greek and it did no longer exist 2000 years in the past. in case you ask peter to take you to confirm Jesus he might look at you with a puzzled look on his face and respond who or what on earth is that. Proverbs 30:4 Who hath ascended up into heaven, or descended? who hath accrued the wind in his fists? who hath certain the waters in a garment? who hath everyday each and all the ends of the earth? what [is] his call, and what [is] his son's call, if thou canst tell?

Firstly, sorry that we confused you. Here are cited scriptures that you can find in any Bible, along with reasoning.
The Trinity doctrine is NOT a Bible teaching.
Trinites were worshipped long before there was a Catholic Church: "Trinities of gods long preceded Christianity, being common in ancient Egyptian and Babylonian mythology" from "The History of Christianity", published by Peter Eckler.
Take for example this scripture that many believe proves a Trinity:
John 17:20-23--(20) "I make request, not concerning these only, but also concerning those putting faith in me through their word; in order that they may all be one, just as you, Father, are in union with me and I am in union with you, that they also may be in union with us, (21) in order that the world may believe that you sent me forth. (22) Also, I have given them the glory that you have given me, in order that they may be one just as we are one. (23) I in union with them and you in union with me, in order that they may be perfected into one, that the world may have the knowledge that you sent me forth and that you loved them just as you loved me."
Verses 20 states that God is in union with Jesus "that they also may be in union with us" (meaning his followers). This clearly meant oneness of mind and purpose (as with a married couple). Did Jesus pray that his followers would be part of a Trinity?
Verse 22 tells how God sent Jesus forth. There has to be two persons mentioned here; One being the sender, and another being sent.
Verse 23 mentions the prayer that all of Jesus' followers be in union with him, and to be "perfected into one".
Also check: John 14:24--John 14:28--Mark13:32--Matthew24:36
These scriptures are in you Bible, or go to the library; they should have a Bible there.
Ask any of Jehovah's Witnesses for the brochure: "Should You believe in the Trinity?"

I think you're talking about two different topics.
Jesus Christ is not God (he was figuratively God in the Old Testament; the spokesperson for God) = John 1:1.
Now if Jesus was a trinity (which is unbiblical), that would mean he didn't come fully in the flesh = 1John 4:3.
How can Jesus be God and talk to himself?
The Trinity Doctrine came from paganism.

Most of the majority(Matt.7:13) lead people away from the Truth.
(KJV BIBLE)There are 3 that protestants claim about the trinity; they're JOHN 14 & 15 and 1JOHN 5:7. To start out 1JOHN 5:7 was never in any of the inspired Greek manuscripts; so this knocks out one. As for John 14 & 15; the Greek word for "helper" is paracletos; one who helps inwhich points to the Holy spirit. In Greek, the word "He" is neuter such as "hand" is feminine whether it is a woman's hand or male's hand. As for the word "paracletos" it is masculine and always require a masculine pronoun. This however doesn't prove personhood as you've noticed.
But as you've noticed, these texts don't prove Jesus is God or the Holy Spirit.
I don't believe in the TRINITY! The Bible texts that I'm going to mention contradict the Trinity teaching.
MATT.12:32 "AND WHOSOEVER SPEAKETH A WORD AGAINST THE SON OF MAN, IT SHALL BE FORGIVEN HIM: BUT WHOSOEVER SPEAKETH AGAINST THE HOLY GHOST, IT SHALL NOT BE FORGIVEN HIM, NEITHER IN THIS WORLD, NEITHER IN THE WORLD TO COME."
JOHN 14:28 "IF YE LOVED ME, YE WOULD REJOICE, BECAUSE I SAID , I GO UNTO THE FATHER: FOR MY FATHER IS GREATER THAN I."
1COR.11:3 "BUT I WOULD HAVE YOU KNOW THAT THE HEAD OF EVERY MAN IS CHRIST; & THE HEAD OF THE WOMAN IS THE MAN; AND THE HEAD OF CHRIST IS GOD."
LUKE 18:19 "AND JESUS SAID UNTO HIM, WHY CALLEST THOU ME GOOD? NONE IS GOOD, SAVE ONE, THAT IS, GOD."
****SEVERAL OTHER TEXTS SAY THERE'S ONLY TWO PERSONS:
1COR.1:3; 8:6; 1TIM.1:2; 2:5; GAL.1:3; PHILIPP.1:2; ROM.1:7; 2COR.1:2-3; 1THESS.1:1; 2THESS.1:2; 2TIM.1:2; PHILEMON 1:3; 1PETER 1:3; 2PETER 1:2; 1JOHN 1:3; 2JOHN 1:3.
Now touching on the HOLY SPIRIT; the Holy Spirit is a power(Luke 1:35= "And the angel answered and said unto her, The Holy Ghost shall come upon thee, and the power of the Highest shall overshadow thee: therefore also that holy thing which shall be born of thee shall be called the "Son of God.") where God and Jesus make their presence known in the hearts and minds of believers(1John 3:24 = "And he that keepeth his commandments dwelleth in him, and he in him. And hereby we know that he abideth in us, by the Spirit which he hath given us."). The believers of god and Jesus will have this love poured on them (Rom.5:5 = "And hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given to us.") It will teach them understanding and wisdom of God's Word (John 14:16,17,20,23,26 = "And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever; Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you. At that day ye shall know that I am in the Father, and ye in me, and I in you. Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him. But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.") Jesus had the Holy Spirit in him when he made the lame walk and the deaf to hear and etc.(Luke 5:15-17) God works in our minds to give us stength to overcome (Genesis 6:3 = "And the Lord said, my Spirit shall not always strive with man, for that he also is flesh: yet his days shall be an hundred and twenty years.") Other texts are: John 7:38-39; Rom.8:11,13-14,16 and Psalm 104:30.
Also why I don't believe in the TRINITY is because it says in the KJV that the false church will cast all the truth to the ground (Daniel 8:12). I happen to know this false church because all the world has followed it (Rev.12:9; 13:3,12) except for one church (Acts 20:28).
