It's a tricky one, artists don't usually become famous until after they're dead, however if your arty then it would be a shame to waste it.

The age difference would be what 7, 8 years, I guess they've still got a lot of growing up to do, but this might make it easier to concentrate on your work if your private life is removed from there's.

Now you are on the course you should just go with it, when you enrolled I bet you were following a gut feeling, and these are usually right.

Good luck.

I feel that you would do well to get a teaching degree. Perhaps becoming an art teacher. Don't give up on school just because you are 24. You're still young. Don't think that all you can do is work in a supermarket or for a cleaning service. You can do more. Don't let others crush your dreams.

Hey
first off if you want to do something, then go for it.
It's important that you do what you are interested in. If you don't take this opportunity, it will pass be for you can say 'bippity bop'.
I say go for whatever you WANT to do. You will make the right choice.
Personally I would choose college, this way you can get a way better job, and usually better pay. Just remember that everything has it's pros and cons.
Make a list and write out all the pros and cons on these two. Whichever has the most pros, go for it. But don't forget to follow your heart.

Look into the career options that can result from this course that you intend to take. Some colleges give out diplomas/degrees that are not recognised as their programme is not rigorous enough. Make sure that the course you'll be taking has the potential of being beneficial to your goals and career.

Go to college. Don't let others affect what you really want to do in life. Have more confidence in yourself. You can do better things when you put your heart into it and you should constantly put logs in the fire to keep your drive going. You can also work and go to college at the same time. I did that and was able to earn my bachelor's degree. It was hard work but it was well worth it in the end. Good Luck and go to school.

hey go after your goal, stick to your gameplan, don't let college people (some of which are twerps) knock back.
and don't take menial jobs you wll never amount to anything packing shelves, and will not meet the people who are right for you, and have ambitions and artistic interests too.
so to hell with all of them. if you cannot find a pathway then CUT A NEW ONE. but never never be pushed or influenced by others.
cut your own groove. you know you can do it.

I would say follow your heart and do what you want to do, not what you feel 'the majority' are doing and therefore you should be... Believe me, it's the only way if you want to feel fulfilled.. and if you're on the right track, then things have a habit of falling into place..

It is never too late to go to college. Do you know most people change career at least once in their life. You are still young don't worry you will find your way. Good luck.

if you do this course make sure you get all A's through it and then you can do anything you want. Most jobs train you at what you do and they don't want you already trained. you have to show them that you are diligent and work hard at what you do. trust me you can move into almost any industry this way.
