dogs...easy. Cat's are more independent, less inclined to try to please their owner and the smells they leave behind are nasty.

depends on you. For me, cats outside, dogs inside. I once had a cat inside, all of the hair everywhere soon got to me. Now I have a cat outside and a dog that doesnt shed inside. works great.

DOG DOG DOG DOG!!!! dogs are way more loyal than cats.are a mans best freind. dont have to change their litter. tolorate small children better. are more social.protective of your kids. and to add on might i suggest a medium breed dog such as border collie? dogs are smarter. more willing to play. dont hack up furballs. dogs have bean with mankind since the first Neanderthal started feeding a wolf and keeping it as a pet. the Egyptians feared cats yet one of there gods had the head of a dog. the kings of old england had royal hounds but not royal cats. dogs are used to help rescue people but cats arent. blind people entrust there life with a dog not a cat. there are many reasons to choose dogs over cats but almost none to choose cats over dogs

I've always had cats in my life since I was born, and I always will. I love that they're independant, have a mind of their own, and are totally loyal.
I also love dogs, just got my first 2 years ago (although my mom had about 6 when I was born) and I love them so much. They're loyal as well, fun to hang around and just great pets!

DOGS~They are more loyal to a person. They don't act stuck up~ They are better with kids~ They like to play more than cats...not always laying around.~

Cats. They are low maintenance, perfect for most families, and super for an independent woman or man. My cat has been with me to most states, and Canada. She has traveled by car, plane, train, and boat. She was the best.

If you have time to devote to the animal than choose a dog they make wounderful freinds if you dont have time choose a cat they can pretty much entertsin them selves!!!!
