i like to make cookie dough and just eat that, not making any cookies. is it bad for you because of the raw eggs in it?

It depends on what type of cookie dough it is. If it's home made with raw eggs, then you shouldn't eat it. It could be contaminated with the salmonella bacterica, and you could get very sick.
If it's commerically made cookie dough, you should check the label to see if it was made with raw eggs. There are some commerical cookie doughs that specifically say they were not made with raw eggs, and those would be safe to eat.

Almost anything in moderation is not to bad on you. Cookie Dough has raw eggs and are never recomended to eat alone. Very likely chance of getting Bochalism. The dough itself can clog you arteries but it sure does taste good. May I suggest to make the dough with a eggbeater substitute.

The raw eggs could get you sick with psaminilla (or however you spell it). However, it might not, either. Your safest bet is to buy prepackaged cookie dough from the store. They pasturize it in a way where it is safe to eat it without cooking it.

It can be. You should never consume raw eggs; they can be carriers of salmonella and if cooked improperly (or not at all) you can become quite ill.
That being said, I simply adore cookie dough.

you can get salmonella poisoning from eating uncooked eggs, so raw cookie dough is not very smart to eat.

Oh, no, not really. I mean, if you can get all the sugar and fat out of it, I guess it'll be alright. Oh, wait, if you do that, you'll be left with processed flour.....
I guess it's kind of bad for you.
Oh, cookie dough does not necessarily have eggs.

I was told it is. The raw eggs cause salmonella or whatever. I can't help but eat it anyway. It's too yummy!
