Only the Zaidi sect of Islam has renounced the killing o those who leave Islam by choice. This is a black mark against Islam to kill those who leave our religion. For the quran says, "let there be no compulsion in religion."

Who are the Zaidis? You didnt quote the surah or verse it is from which makes your evidence questionable.
I dont think we have authority to overturn something like that, Allah will ask us on judgement day on what grounds we did it.

The Prophet Sal Allahu alaiyhi wa sallam said, "If anyone changes his religion (from Islam) then kill him." The explanation of this narration is that Since Islam is the PERFECT religion and that Muhammad (Peace be upon him) was the last of the Messengers, if anyone "CHOOSES" misguidance over the Guidance from Allah, then he (the person) is not deserving of this life which has been given to him by Allah. Secondly, if a person is a true submitting believer, when Allah has decreed a matter, it is not for anyone to have a say in the matter after that as is mentioned in the Qur'an.

Zaidi is not a sect of Islam, it contradicts the very basic concepts of Islam. Now why you don't mention the name of some of those who were been killed because they left Islam, because I don't know any.

dude i am sunni and i have no desire to leave kill n e 1 who leaves the religion. that is on them. besides read the haddith that states there will be over 70 sects of islam and all will burn in jehennem but one. muslims world wide need to unite and quit fighting over sects because it was forbidden by the prophet muhammud sallahualayhewasallam.
