i am going to the lake with my youth group but i am older like 21 and not really into the church thing just going to meet guys and as something to do. is that a good idea?

It's possible to meet guys anywhere. There's no specific place that is better, either.
The best way to meet/talk to a guy is to just be yourself. You can talk about anything from the weather to your hobbies, likes and dislikes.

You're more likely to meet church guys within the youth group, unless you are able to get away from the group? Why not go with a friend?

From my experience I would say yes. The lake is not a bad place to meet guys. Oh, if you're shy, you should bring a frisby with you and then throw it at a guys head. Then he'll come over and return the frisby whilst you put on the jessicablock⢠charm

The only guys you'll meet at the lake are old ones, or ones that are on dates. good luck though

being in a youth group is a positive thing. enjoy and get into all da activities. and you can also meet guys. nothing wrong wit that. youre lookin in a good place.

well personally i dont think you should go on a trip like that to look for guys. The whole purpose of the trip is to get closer to God. SO not only will you be distracted while looking, if you do catch a guys eye you will be distracting him from what he came there for- to work on his relationship with God. Please rethink your purpose for going. I think you should go still, but just remember why those boys are there and give them space to do what they came there for.
