lets see how creative and knolwegeble Cristians are . I want to know what was the real name of Jesus when he was a child. SO giving name of GOD from OLD testement won't work. At least since Cristians trying to follow Crist would not be right to call him by his real name and not translation?

i like the answer "What is your point??? Does it matter??? What could it prove or disprove??? Nothing... "

Well how about if every one would call you stupid and then use your own asnwer to defend them. What will it prove? Just because you do't know what Jesus real name was its a shame for ppl who claims with all that heart they are folowing him. May you follow some1 else then?

I like when ppl point me to my spelling mistakes. Well unlike those who does at least i can speak and write in 3 languages. And yes i could use spell checker like you do to hide your msitakes. And after everything else fails they attack spelling. How cute:)
Therefore GOD exists.

His real name was "Jesus." Back then people didn't have last names for the most part. But, he traveled a bit, so he was known as "Jesus of Nazareth", Nazareth being where he was from. Christ is not a name, it's a role. Jesus is Christ. Jesus the Christ. Jesus Christ. Christ is God within. Everyone has Christ inside them. Some people still use the name Jesus these days. It's popular in some Spanish-speaking countries.

We don't speak the languages that they spoke during Jesus' lifetime on the earth, and we have no way of knowing how Jesus's name was pronounced. But, we speak English, and in English Jesus' name is 'Jesus Christ', the 'Christ' part meaning 'the Anointed One' because he was anointed by God to be the Messiah.
Also, in English, God's name is JEHOVAH, and other Bible names such as: Jesus (meaning 'JEHOVAH is Salvation), Joshua, Jeremiah, Jehu and from which many other Bible names are derived.
Many people don't want to say Jehovah's name, wanting to say 'Yaweh" or 'Elohim' or titles such as 'God', 'Lord' or 'I Am'; those are just titles. God has a personal name.

JEHOVAH understands the English language (since He divided the languages) and because we pray to him in English, we should pronounce the names of the two highest beings in the universe in English.

I have also heard Joshua ben Joseph (maybe just a different dialect, but definitely meaning the same as a prior answerer.)
