I'm not sure if this is what you meant, but there was allegedly a plane with "standing room only" space that was proposed by Airbus to Asian airline companies. However, Airbus denies that they even are going to make such a plane.

This turns out to be a joke. The papers that published this did not check the facts and printed this news and retracted it the next. So much for professionalism. Wonder can you ever believe the tabloids these days? And this was a major US english papers.
