i met this guy a while ago and we've been hanging out quite alot-- he's totally not the typical guy i'd go for but we party all the time and have good times together-- he'll call me randomly and in the middle of the night to hang out... i know that he's been a player before so i am trying to not get attached because of that, but i find myself infatuated with him... any advise?

If you know his past then there should be no question, but since you asked.......... don't be available all the time, even if you want to hang out. It will put him to the test. Either he will stop calling, or he will call more which could mean that he is really interested. You say he has been a player ; start a game, but in order to win you have to have distance from him, and last but not least DON'T LOOSE YOURSELF!!!!!!!!! (really important) Know at all times who you are and what you want ; be a little selfish.

Give him what he wants but on condition that it's only a one night thing. It'll be the best one night of passion you ever had, if he's the player you say he is. Great sex without the emotional baggage of a relationship that will fuel "self-love" fantasys for eons after. He's there for you now because he's enjoying the thrill of the chase. As soon as he gets his reward the chase is over. He might try and get more but you make it clear you had an agreement and he'll back off. If you try for a relationship you'll only end up getting hurt.

if you are having feelings for him dont fight it, but since you have heard thing about him in the past you definitly want to be careful. keep you guard up and if starts acting shady get out of there. but you never know he could be a great guy. good luck!

Stop hanging around with him,thats why men and women can't just be friends,there is that sexual attraction regardless if he is your type or not. Its your call and he could break your heart.
