I like bright colors in hallways. The space is limited, so you can be more intense - you're not there for very long.
I vote for space age orange.

Depends how much light you get - if it's a dark hallway paint it a light colour, if not anything goes, but if you are going to be selling your home shortly then choose a less flamboyant colour.

If its a narrow hallway, id go for a light colour and maybe use some mirrors to give the feeling of space.

Magonolia.. buy the paint from your local industrial estate.. like where painters and decorators come from.. it will be much cheaper.. They have a list of British Standard Colours.. these colours are standardised among all all major manufacturers. Look up "Leyland Trade Paint Centres" there will be one near you. They have a vast range of colours and finishes to choose from.

I just painted a set of drawers a really deep red color....it's so great, you check out colors that are sort of like that!

Light purple walls and anything that you have there should be black, e.g. coat hanger or shelving on the hallway wall...
