I have dvd shrink and nero and am trying to burn a dvd. I select to burn the disc through dvd shrink but just as its about to copy it tells me it has to be a dvd+r disc. I am trying to use a dvd-r disc. Is there anything I can do to change the settings of nero so it will burn onto a dvd-r? Or does it depend on the dvd burner I have on my pc? It is just a region 2 copy I want so why does it have to be dvd+r? It's driving me mad! Can anyone help!

your dvd burner only supports dvd +r discs so get dvd +r discs

It is unusual to have a dvd burner that doesn't do both formats.
While in DVD Shrink, go to edit, preference, file I/O then click on enable burn with nero, it is almost at the botom.
If it still doesn't burn then you will need the other format of discs.

Most DVD drivers these days are made to use DVD-R and DVD+R. They are both essentially the same disk except DVD+R came out after DVD-R. I think most DVD burners require your DVD to be a certain format, thats why DVD+R is more compatible with systems.
Try using http://www.dvd-cloner.com instead. If you like it, I can help you get it for free. It has a CSS encryptor so it will burn copyrighted movies.

You have to download Nero Vision Express DVD Burner, I have it it works great. Also download Ares, you can download free music, and Nero Vision....., go to aresgalaxy.com

Depends on your burner not Neros. You will need the other disk.

u r saying u r using dvd-r disc ..i think u should have a dvd+w disc or a dvd+r disc
