It's OK if nobody answers this, I just really want to get it off my chest.

Since I finished highschool this summer, I got into listening to a lot of punk-rock
and going to the odd gig here n there. Since then, I constantly feel depressed and REALLY REALLY
lonely when none of my friends are near me, its destroying me mentally, and this has something to do
with the music I listen to, I feel like I need my friends to be there all the time cuz they like the same music as I now do
and we can talk about it n stuff. But its weird because I used to LOOOOOVE being alone and being by myself with my family, now, I CANT STAND IT!!!
I feel really depressed when I know that I wont see my friends tomorrow cuz theyre working or whatever, and just see no point in waking up at all!
what THE HELL IS WRONG WITH ME!?

You answered this yourself. It's the music you are listening to. Change the music you listen to. Try something more gentle, or with a better message. I'd even suggest some Christian punk.

It sounds like you are actually suffering from depression. Graduation and finishing school could be part of it, or the fear that now that you are out of high school you and your friends will grow apart so you are trying so hard to hold onto them. Is there an older adult you can talk to about this? Like a doctor, or teacher or priest/rabbi or something? Or just talk to your friends and explain how you feel. That may make you feel better. But if t he depressed feelings continue, see a doctor, just to be safe. Good luck!!!

hey cheer up... you are not alone. you are just a bit depressed that's all. it should pass but if it doesn't i would go talk to someone like a councilor, priest, pastor... or just someone you trust.

My opinion is that you need find other things to occupy your time. Take up sports or just volunteer in your free time. I am not going to say find a boyfriend or girlfriend because though they can provide distraction, only you can fill the gap and they too will have their own priorities.

Find an avenue for your boredom.

nicely, it relies upon... while you're on my own on your room and loathe going exterior in view which you're attempting to bury a physique of a former lover, than per threat you at the instant are not incredibly universal and you need to hunt for professional help. on the different hand, quite a few the final minds of our time have been loners and oft misunderstood...together with Archie Bunker or Gary Coleman. base line is this: while you're comfortable and happy on the 2nd, then do no longer hassle. finally you will locate sadness and drudgery returned, very like the rest persons, wherein case you would be "decrease back to universal"

well.. why don't u find ur highschool mates.. have all of them fled?
and it's OK to feel lonely.. try to make new friends.. find a club that plays your kinda music.. join it and u will find new friends there. Just get ur *** out and find some new friends..
Try to get involved in some hobby.. anything... u will not feel alone if u r busy in something.

Sounds like maybe your bored, check and see if you can pick up a part time job, it will keep you busy and you'll have less time to think about it. If you can't find a job that will give you a little cash, try volunteering at your local hospital .

Isolation can really screw you up. I loved to be alone. Now I can barely socialize with people. Hell, I cannot stand the human race any more. That being said I cannot stand to be alone any more. Catch 22.

Well you said you just got out of school...Maybe it's just the change you are not use to...If you are really depressed though you should see a theripist or your doctor to see how to get help. If you don't seek treatment now it will only get worse.
