My advice for you is start with community college. If you do well, u can apply to University level... In some states you can only transfer up to 60 hour credits which is 20 classes... Trust me go the community college route... it's cheaper, the hours vs class is equal to univesity level!!! (For example: Eng1303 at Community college cost $115: Eng 1303 at UofTexas $1089)... Do the math... both have the same value...

piece out!!!

A 2.8 is the equivalent to a B-. I think there are many colleges that would take you. But colleges dont just look at your GPA. They look at SAT/ACT scores and recommendations, your essay, what courses you have taken in high school. If you cant get into the college of your choice then start at a community college, improve your grades and then try to transfer into a four year university/college. You should be discussing your options with your guidance counselor and parents.

Good Luck!

Yes, it's not that difficult. Look for a state university that has a good program in what you are looking to study. Apply to be admitted during the summer session (it's often easier to get in at that time).
