I have a collection of empty anitque medicine bottles and I would like to know if there is any trick to cleaning them.... Please help!!

Thy soaking them in water with denture cleaning tablets. If that doesn't get them clean enough.soak then in water /ammonia. Also, a bottle brush will help. If there are still stains, use acetone nail polish remover. You might also try rubbing alcohol. Keep in mind that different kinds of "dirt" are soluble in different chemicals. Be careful with the chemicals. Avoid very hot water which may cause the bottles to break.

Be careful - if you clean them it may decrease their value. Call a reputable antiques store (you can find one on switchboard.com) and ask them what they recommend.
