not go away. the skin feels numb and hard. when i bend or walk it gets worse. just wondering if anyone might know what this could be. I've been thinking about going to the emergency room but i've been told by a doctor that i have ulcers about 2 years ago and i was thinking maybe that's what it is. I've had no fever or chills or vomiting the only thing is the pain that won't go away.

Please help kate

This is most likely the gall bladder.

To prove it, EAT something HEAVY, and then LEAN OVER in the curled-up position you need to be in to stick your head in the tub and HOLD that position for about five minutes.

Are you in AGONY? ;) then IT'S YOUR GALL BLADDER!

See a doc SOONER rather than LATER! By catching this condition EARLY, you COULD qualify for the MUCH EASIER surgery that can be done with three small incisions and mere DAYS of recovery. Wait until it's advanced, and you will end up with a six-inch incision and a LOT of recovery time required.

Best wishes from one who, forced to attempt to accomplish the work duties of FOUR departed employees, did not receive surgical intervention until close to SEPSIS with a gall bladder that had gone FULLY GANGRENOUS! :P *sigh*

[And please DO see the doc even if you are NOT in AGONY from my little GB *test*--as there's also the possibility that it's your Appendix, which could rupture and produce peritonitis and DEATH. :( ]

You've probably got gallstones. To get rid of them: first thing in the morning take a couple of ounces of olive oil, then 8 ounces of grapefruit juice. Don't eat anything else until lunch. The next day, expect an episode of green diarrhea containing the green gallstones. You may have to repeat this to get rid of all of them.

Kate please get off to a doctor. It could appendicitis, constipation, muscle pain from heavy exercise, gall bladder, uterine cancer (less likel; but a possibility) and at least anothr dozen possibilites. If you also have nausea the chances that it is appendicitis goes up. Appendicitis can become ruptured appendicitis and peritonitis. Go to emerg. and get checked stat.

Play it safe and get checked by a doctor. You waited 4 days already and you still have the pain, don't take chances with your health.

Good Luck!

If you go onto Webmd.com and put in your symptoms, perhaps that will help. Personally, it sounds like a gas blockage, but don't take my word for it!!

Sounds like you pulled something, but to be on the safe side have it X-rayed.
