If it happens it happens. There is nothing you can do about it.
That's why you should live your life to the fullest while you still can.
I don't think anyone here can give you a real answer unless they've battled with cancer and looked death in the eye.

Does one have a choice? If cancer is destined for one - the person will get it and then it does not mean death. There are ways of curing the illness as medically the world has really done some great breakthroughs and you have to believe in yourself that you will beat the cancer. As far as dieing - I am really not afraid as I have been there ( believe it or not ) and returned. I have seen the other side and hence lead a full life now- a much happier one now then ever before.

I'm alittle worried about it, but I'm not scared (even though I lost 3 family members to it). If I was worried about all of the ways out there to die, I'd be worried all of the time. If you stay away from things thought to cause cancer(smoking being the big one) chances are you wont get it:)

It is a fact that, if you live long enough, you will have cancer of some sort. So the key is, get everything checked out all the time. Do all the screenings that you should, etc.

Nope, I am 24 and have cancer right now. I have beat it so far and I plan on doing so forever. There is no reason to be scared. My doctors are amazing. They explain everything and then tell me how they are going to fight it.

No! I had two tumors removed in my life time and so far I have been lucky that it not cancer. My hubby has cancer. It hit us hard but you can live with it as long as you doctor yourself.

Not anymore. I have faith in God and that along with good medical care got me through advanced cancer 10 yrs ago. It's okay to fear but overcome the fear with faith in God.

I focus on doing the little things you can to prevent it. I don't worry. Why waste your life worrying about what COULD happen to you?
