Nature's Miracle works wonders. but to keep the cat from doing it again, at the nearest pet store, along with the Nature's Miracle, they should have a product (I don't know the brand name) called Bitter Apple. you spray that anywhere you don't want to cat to pee or spray.

Honestly, throw the couch away and get a new one. Nothing gets the smell of cat urine out of anything.

Buy a new couch, get rid of the cat. Seriously, I hate to say it, but you will never get the smell completely out.

My friend's mom always threw moth balls all over the couch when the cats peed on it. Not sure if it helped the smell or just to deter the cats from sprayin all over the couch, though....

Professional cleaning. If that does not work get a new couch and a new cat.

If you take the couch outside and let the fresh clean air and the bright clear sunshine at it the smell will disappear as soon as five or six years, so long as it rains regularily. skunk stink is easier and less offensive

Buy an enzymatic cleaner such as "nature's miracle" to get stains out. You must do this before they set, so don't clean with anything else or steam clean, or that smell may be there forever

Nature's Miracle. It does not cover the smell, it gets rid of it. You can get Nature's Miracle enzyme cleaner at a pet food store.
