Also, could you please discuss why you feel that way?

yes. I believe all things are "meant" to be in life. Everything happens for a reason...

(1) Sometimes, it's due to a consequence of a bad decision on our part...

(2) Sometimes, it's directly God's will.

God doesn't want bad things to come to us, but sometimes he does "allow" them especially if we're being disobedient, or stubborn towards his good and perfect will.

I hope this answers your question. God bless.

No you have a free will it up to you. You can believe that the Lord Jesus Christ died for you sins on the cross or you can reject Him and then you future is sure. Romans 10: 13 For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. John 3: 18 He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.

Yes, I believe everything happens for a reason, good and bad. When bad things happen I believe it's because either there's a lesson to be learned or something good will come out of the bad.

I think so. I think the BIG things in your life, are predestined. the time and when may vary, but things are set so no matter which fork in the road you take, it will cross paths with whomever so that the particular event can occur.
