I mean would you cheat, steal, or act foolishly if you knew that there is no afterlife. Would you treat people with more respect or less respect. Or would you stop wasting your time with school and work and spend your time with your family?And would you act like a animal if you found out that there isn't a afterlife. where is the new direction after you learn that there is no afterlife and how would it inpact your life.
For me. after my death I felt lied to from everyone on earth that told me that there is a afterlife and when I died and didn't see the after life I felt robbed. And felt that I wasted my life for beleaving in god and heaven and going to chuch and leave a good life. Now I want to be left alone and get pissed when someone talks about god or heaven. I want to live on my own island a not wear clothing and have sex when I want, And since I have died and I know I didn't see these things, then where is the proof that god lives.

Whether a person believes in the afterlife or not, I still think they should respect one another. If it takes believing in the afterlife for this to happen, then that is a good thing. I personally don't believe in an afterlife, but for the most part, I respect others and treat them as equals. I just hate to see people persecuted and their lives on earth miserable because of others and their religious beliefs.

First, if there is no afterlife, then when you die you would not be around to ponder the fact that there isn't one. Second, why would you want to commit crimes and be someone who is only out for themselves? These acts tend to lead to prison and that is not where most people want to spend their lives - especially if this is the only life you have. It's definitely good to spend time with family and friends but without school or work, the quality of that time could suffer since you still need money for the things that make life more comfortable and enjoyable.

I do not believe in God, but I believe in reencarnation. I believe in being reborn into something/one else. Whether it is punishment or reward makes no difference to me. Life is what we make it, how we live it is our choice. I do not like the idea that everything we do has been preordaned--what is the purpose of living if it's been all planned out for us?
Like Jasmine in Disneys' Aladdin says "I can't stay here and have my life lived for me."

I wouldn't change my ways either way. I'll be myself with or without after life and if there is an after life then I will just have to answer for what I did or did not do.

why think about afterlife when u can takecare of ur doings in this very present life of urs.
When in the time of retrospection u r able to look urself in your own eyes that means u were cautious , responsible and conscientious of ur doings...........
