some coastal recreation spot in the North Eastern US, perhaps Cape Cod, Jersey Shore ... if you get a car you can visit so many places within a few hours

Washington State has everything that you can find anywhere in the world! Washington State has snow capped mountain ranges, skiing, deserts, grain fields, underground caves, Lava flow formations, precioius and semi-precious stones, mineral mining, rain forest, lakes, rivers and streams. White water rafting. The Pacific Ocean. Fishing and boating. Hiking and biking on all kinds of terrain. Sand dunes and clay formations. Reservations for learning about the local tribes of Native Americans who have been here, longer than any of us. Experience different cultures, customs and cuisine. There are Cultural centers, Museums, Art galleries. major sports teams and sporting events. The Circus, waterfalls, Sailboarding and surfing. Rock climbing and snow boarding. ATVs and trains, planes and casinos.There are great schools and institutions for higher learning. So many types of fish, wildlife and animals of all sizes, shapes and colors. Insects and plants, all that only grow here. You can witness and/or study whale migration and Canada goose migration. Butterflies, birds and beetles. So many species of Flora and Fauna not found anywhere else in the world.There are great educational and job opportunities everywhere in the State. From Goverment jobs to field work. You can find jobs and training in almost any trade or field you wish. I could go on and on and on...Look into it. You will never be sorry you did.

Vegas or Phoenix. Both Growth Areas. You can fly to anywhere from those two cities.
I would say NYC-But the reality is that you can spend all you make on rent here.

I have been to 36 states ...loved them all ..every one different ..have never been anywhere else in the world where you can get so much contrast in a day ..you can drive from hot sunshine to snow in a day ..they even have real deserts ..my favorites ..mustang island ..padre island .and death valley
