Because the water and cleanser--assuming you use a cleanser or soap--cleans your face and rids it of all the dirt, sweat, impurities, and you start with a clean face!

The head and face contain a lot of nerve endings and that makes them extremely sensitive to perspiration and skin oils, which are secreted through much of an active day.
When you wash your face you are taking away the skin oils and perspiration, and whatever dirt may be sticking to your face, and that makes the skin feel better. You are also stimulating those aforesaid nerve endings in a most pleasant way.
In Japan, and much of the Far East., it is customary to provide a hot wet towel for face washing before a meal. I love that custom!! It is one of my best memories of Japan.

cause when you wash your face you feel refresh its like your face sweats more and it is the one thing that feels cool

the water is a different temp creating the sensors on your skin to fire. The oil is rinsed off your skin along with other impurities, cells and the like so it is virtually fresher. But the sensation your feeling is all due to your sensory receptors firing messages to your brain.

I think its just a natural human behavior. You feel clean. I always do when I wash my face. You feel fresh!

because it feels so refreshing first thing of the morning by the way does anyone use Noxzema? now that's what you call refreshing yahoooooo!!

I think when the water is cooler than your skin temperature it just sort of jolts you into feeling that way. It's like jumping into a pool, it gives you a rush of adrenaline or something.

Because we are washing bacteri and grease from are faces not to menchtion to make sur we dont get ZITS!!!
