LOTS of people, apparently. They'll believe just about anything written in a book with numbers next to each sentence -and so long as it explains (no matter how strangely) their existence on a tiny little planet out in the boondocks of a very scary universe.

it was not an apple! They actually ate from the tree of knowledge of Good and Evil. The story about eating fruit is methaphorical as everything in the Bible is. You shouldnt believe in it literaly, but search for symbols and hidden meanings. Its absolutely foolish to read the Bible like a novel without going deeper!

in the beginning there was no sin, adam and eve were created sinless, however they had free will. God gave Adam and Eve a CHOICE to either obey him or disobey him by eating from the fruit. Man chose to disobey God, which is sin, as a result to this day man has been seperated from God.

When the first sin was committed by Adam, sin entered the world, and now man is naturally sinful. Christianity is way of closing that separation and choosing to be with God once again.

I do!

It is kind of like a metaphor, Eve ate the apple, in other words disobeyed God. This is something humans do everyday, like you! This is why we need Jesus, because no body is perfect, your actions have proved my point!

I am praying for you!

God Loves YOU

this is the true reality....and it was not an apple....the bible states that is was a fruit, but it doesn't specify what type of fruit....and Adam and Eve disobey God, so now the consecuences are that we all are born in sin, and we are doomed to death....But there is hope by means of God, when he provided the sacrifice of Jesus Christ his son, to forgive us our sins, and have the posibility to live forever in the earth converted into a paradise want to know more....get in touch with a Jehovah's Witness...

the apple is a test of simple obedience

at the time the human race consisted of just two people

if they lost the grace that was given to them, then they cannot give it to their decedents. thus pain and suffering

this is one reason that the redemption by Jesus is so important-
it gives people the opportunity to merit grace: especially by patiently bearing the sufferings of life in his name

It's not about the fruit it's about obedience.....Obedience is better than sacrifice.....Just like on a job you could get fired for not following the company's rules!!!! And yes I do believe it happened!!!!

blah, blah, blah..........I don't take any of it to heart (Metaphor) Suffering is human nature, meaning it's gonna happen no matter what you believe. My opinion and no I will not go to "hell" nor will the "devil" stick its pitchfork in my ***. For there is no hell or devil, for me, I do not need them to scare me into being/staying ethical and moral ie. "good"
