Bananas go black faster if kept near acidic fruits like oranges, apples, etc. so if you keep them in the fruit bowl with the other fruit, dont, and they'll last longer. Hope that helps ;-)

Put them in the refrigerator. They may turn (a little) on the outside but the inside will be OK for a few days longer if you refrigerate them as soon as you get home from the grocery store.
