It depends how much you are eating, almonds are high in protein and good fats, they are very healthy if you don't overdo it

Almonds or therefore any nuts are actually good for you as long as you enjoy them in moderation and try to eat ones that are whats called raw. I think you will find raw almonds have a much better flavor and they don't have any added salt or other ingredients you don't need. Just a side note when i say in moderation no more than about a cup a day.

Everybody needs some kind of indulgence. I don't think you should feel guilty.

It depends on what else you are eating throughout the day and how many almonds you are eating. A small handful won't hurt you. Especially when you eat a lot of things like fruits and salads.

If you are trying to maintain or loose weight, it's about looking at your entire diet and trying to balance your calories, fat and dietary fiber. A little bit of anything won't hurt you - but anything in mass quantities will.

Don't feel guilty. Almonds are loaded with monounsaturated fat, the good kind that will raise your HDL's. Two oz would give you about 328 calories a day, not that bad, better than a Pepsi, donuts, chips or ice cream.

They can be good for you, as long as you limit how many you are eating. I once read that a small hand full should be your daily limit, because as you mentioned they could contribute to weight gain if you eat too many (just as lots of other foods would as well). Too much salt is also an issue, so just use your best judgment.

Nothing wrong with Almonds! In fact - much better for you than most "junk" food!
Just eat in moderation. If they are "flavored" need to watch salt content.

Otherwise - enjoy!

Anything you eat will make you gain weight if you eat enough of it.

At least almonds are good for you and provide essential oils.

It relies on whats in the condominium. Everything from Apple pie with vanilla ice cream to what I just had which was a sandwich with deli sliced bologna. Or like one night time final week I had shrimp with linguine noodles with Roasted garlic sauce. Hmmm.

Are you looking for a reason to feel guilty? For instance: Why would I feel guilty about a couple cups of coffee in the morning?, every day?
