im here with my boyfriend. (we're both 14) and we think we are ready to have sex. we both love each other a lot. we're just thinking if we are too young. our friend says its fine and to go ahead but that goes against things we've learned in school of course. i think im ready and so is he. should we do it?

As long as you're ready for the possible consequences (pregnancy or abortion), then I see no reason why not. If you're not ready financially or emotionally, then wait a few years.

so are you saying that you are both ready to have a baby or are you just ready to make love? being ready is being ready for the consequences that will happen once you guys do it. there's a chance that the condom might not work. think about it... sex is showing that you love eachother but some people only do it for the pleasure of it. which ones are you? the ones that want to do it because you love eachother or the ones that want to do it because you're curious? if you want to do it because you love each other there's other ways to show each other that. 14 is pretty young, wait a while... because after you do it you might regret it. it's better doing it when you're married or if you're sure he's the one. do you really want a baby at 14 or 15? think about all the responsibilities or the decision you have to make if you do end up gettin` pregnant. abortion or not. if i were you i'd focus on other things besides sex. really think about what you want and if you're still up for it go ahead but you're taking a big risk.

i doubt that you are ready for the emotional roller coaster that you will go on by having sex so young. also are you ready if for some reason you end up pregnant or with a std or anything else that may happen. sit back and relax! wait to have sex just enjoy one another until you are ready say in about 2-3 years

NO, if you are truly in love, then you can wait at least until you are 18. So much can happen in a mear 4 years and you are so young. You should trust your friends, but they teach you the truth in school. Enjoy where you are now and just being with each other because sex changes you and your relationship.

plenty of people can want...I am pretty sure that most do at that age..but since when is wanting....enough??? SHOULD YOU JUMP OFF THE ROOF because it sounds fun?? sure you might not get hurt..you might even land on your feet...but why take the risk of shooting the shock from hitting the ground all the way through your legs and hurt yourself? Same thing with having sex too young..you screw up on the condom and now you PLACE A FINANCIAL AND LIVING obligation on your parents because you wanted your 5 minutes of sex? TRUST ME..IT IS NOT WORTH THE PREGNANCY AND YOUR SCHOOL DEFINTIELY IS WORTH MUCH MORE...don't risk your school and future for sex...YOU will lose..plenty have already..

If you have been taught differently, than you both need to fight the urge. I know it's hard however, alot can derive from having sex, even just one time. Have you both had a convo with your parents yet regarding the topic? That's the first thing I would advise you to do and see if they can't help you find a clear solution.

Are you ready to deal with the repercussions should you become pregnant? If not, then you are not ready for sex. Take your time, there's no rush.

I won't say if you're ready because I don't know how mature you are but if you do decide make sure you use a condom.

I must say this. If you are on here asking, then you are not ready. Go with what you beleive, and not your friends.

I would say yes. Please use protection. My first time I was 13. Make sure the girl is ready though cuz there are feelings involved!
