ALL science if from God. All science is therefor good. It is only because man messes it up that there are so many negative effects from science.
Those of the Christian Faith just do not want anyone being taught any science in a way that when that teaching is done it is used as an attack on the Christian Faith.

Way befor I became a Christian I sat in science classes and heard teachers put down those who would not blindly accept what they were teaching. many times it was directed against those of The Christian faith who were simply asking for the proof of what was being taught. And the Science teacher could not prove....but they made the christian to be the fool for asking... I did not like it then and I am still upset now,as a Christian., when "science" is used to attack the Creator of the Science.

Millions of people, when given the choice of believing in a young earth, when all the evidence from God’s creation says it is old, were turned away from the gospel. Fundamentalists of the 1920s and later made a fundamental mistake by insisting on a young earth. From that time, the word “Fundamentalism” has been used by the secular world to stereotype Christians, and it has done much harm. It is clear from scripture that you can believe in an old earth, and still believe in an inerrant Bible. You can be a fundamentalist and believe in an old earth.

We must stop turning people off to the Bible by insisting on young earth belief. Yes, many thousands have been saved by young-earth ministries…but compared with the millions that have been lost, the choice is clear.

In reality, there is no conflict between Christianity and evolution, except the continual clash of wills between zealots on both sides of the debate.

Like,

you do realize that the bible doesn't have to replace anything. Its been done before and it can be done again. WITHOUT problems.

when will you fools realize that the only disagreements between scientific knowledge and the bible are the people that advocate it.

They both are the same to me, they better society.
only the bible goes where science cannot.

I do not want to see any science removed from public schools. I do think that the so called scientists are somewhat hypocritical in insisting that all references to religion and/or god be banished. They say god does not exist because you can't prove it. There are many things in science that cannot be proved. They only exist as theories that may or may not be correct, e.g., prove string theory is correct.

I'm a big fan of true science, I just don't see any in the theory of evolution being pushed as fact.

There's lots of good science in the world, but any branch of science that has to support itself through fear and lies should not be taught as science.

Are you helping or hurting with this type of question? Do you think this brings the sides together or pushes them further apart? I trust one day those who oppose the teaching of evolution will understand that science is for teaching things that are brought to light by the scientific method and not faith. Let's help bring that understanding out instead of turning it into "our side is AGAIST your side and we will win".

We don't want science removed from schools. We understand that science glorifies God's creation and helps us to understand Him.

We want LIES disguised as science removed from schools.
