Yes. Gandhi was a good man, but unfortunately being good as nothing to do with going to heaven. Jesus said "I am the way, the truth, and the life: no one comes unto the Father, but by me." This is a fundamental Christian belief, and if anyone gives you any other answer, then he/she is not a Christian. Jesus loves you.

How can you even ask a question like that? Gandhi believed in Hinduism and Islam and Christianity. He believed that he was part of all and part of none. As a boy in the temple, he heard teachings from the Hindu Bhagavad-Gita and the Muslim Q'ran. While in law school he read the Bible. Because of his actions and what he did for the Indian people, he probably managed to escape the wheel of Samsara. He was one of the few people to get religion right.

No, we are all free to choose what we want to bealive in. It wouldnt be fair for anyone to be roasting in hell just beacuse he/she didnt choose Jesus as his personal savior.Dont you think it would be a selfish act if you the ones who bealive in jesus(like my self) to go to heaven and the ones who didnt to hell? I mean everything was made by the same hand so its god work that a child is born in lets say spain o whatever country and be a catholic ,or another kid was born next door and be protestant the same if one kid is born in a india and bealive in gandhis teachings. I was raised in a catholic family but i dont fallow religions any more...I had read several of gandhis teachings and he was a great man who didnt consider his self a god or anything, and just for the record he bealived in Jesus but he didnt bealive in christians.

Why would Ghandi go to hell? I didn't know he sinned. Who cares if he wasn't a Christian, as far as I know he was a good man. That's all anyone should ask for.

No, I believe in a gracious God who judges people on their behaviour here on earth, not who they prayed to. Ghandi was great man who taught people that one person can change the world, and that he can do it peacefully. I don't think God's that fussy as to what you call him.

if you Truly believe you are doing the will of God TRULY then you cannot go to hell..and since there is only ONE God it does not matter what you call him or what you think he she or it looks like we all really worship one God with many faces in our own way.. I know it is wrong but I think this rule also applies 2 nut jobs who have REAL faith

Gandhi upheld the two commandments that Jesus proclaimed, believe it or not.

Walking the path is harder than talking the path.
