Internet has become indispensable nowadays but we can't take our PCs or laptops everywhere. So, there should be a small electronic device by means of which we can access internet. I understand such type of electronic instruments exist.

Could you suggest an electronic device on which I can access internet without connecting my mobile to it? Thank you.

PDA
PDAs are small and portable, some even have a little keyboard on it that u don't need a stylus to use(the little stick thing they give u to touch virtual buttons on the screen)
You can view the actual web page on the PDA too. If you just want to text message, email, and stuff like that then u should get a Blackberry or Sidekick

Verizon and cingular have a device (network card) that can get you internet pretty much everywhere is the U.S. but service runs about $80 a month. There isnt anything cheaper or different. Sprint may have it to.

Any type of PDA will work - it is much smaller and more affordable than a laptop, but you'll need to have a subscription for internet service, unless you can find one with WiFi and just use hotspots.
