For those who asked. I Love God. Can you walk the walk, not just talk the talk.
Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly are ravening wolves.
By their fruits you will know them. Do you gather grapes from thorns, or figs from thistles?
Even so, every good tree produces good fruit; but the corrupt tree produces evil fruit.
A good tree can't produce evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree produce good fruit.
Every tree that doesn't grow good fruit is cut down, and thrown into the fire.
Therefore, by their fruits you will know them.
Not everyone who says to me,'Lord, Lord,' will enter into the Kingdom of Heaven; but he who does the will of my Father who is in heaven.

Let's say some one is "prideful" as they share the message of Christ with the unsave. They think they are better than the 'sinner' and they think they know everything!!
Bottom line... I hope the message gets out.
on the other hand....
I remember a church doing a blast post card mailing to a couple of zip codes, with a generic message about church time and location. The folks that called their phone lines cursing at them, "Take me off your mailing list, - I don't want any more of sh*t in my mail box, -how dare you!!, leave me alone".
-This speaks more about these people rather than the chruch group.
***
God I pray: "here I am, send me. Save brothers and sisters, and separate the sheep from the goats".
PS.. I don't think there's a prayer that in fact the goats don't get too upset and angry at us.

Amen brother!, I was saved as a result of an outreach from a Southern Baptist church. this church was very good. unfortunately among some of my baptist brethren is a great deal of arrogance. Some can witness to someone without the other person realizing it. Some on the other hand are too pushy and have to be ran off before they will shut up. Jesus told his disciples to move on if they encountered resistance-that is what we should do. Some zealots actually run off more people that the good witnesses can bring in.

I suspect that the root origins of the word "prideful" are to the nature of a pride of lions. IE: the larger the Pride of Lions, the more animals they eat. Humility is in this case therefore relative. To the animals eaten the pride is never all that humble, even when starving to death in part.
So, I suspect your question really means why don't you Christians just drop dead and give the rest of us a chance! (?)
A humble lion, however, serves the interests of both the animals eaten and the pride, however it may seem to the particular next meal. Overpopulation would certainly kill more than any humble lion.
Our greatest fault as humans in this culture is that we are not more aggressive. Overpopulation is rampant and we have sought to alleviate this by going vegetarian and growing more crops.
Thus it is your lack of willingness to accept grace not ours ; (I presume you hate us as you think of us as lions to your sheep). Had you been less prolific, you would have seen there are more of virtually every tribe than have ever existed, and you really need to stop trying to be James T. bunnies (sic).

There is no pride in carrying His message. Everything that the believer has can be yours too. So yes we have nothing to be proud of.
However we are just so happy to be with Him, and I know what my life was like before I had Jesus in my life, and it hurts me to know that there are still people out there suffering in such a way.
So I try to spread the message, as Christian we are instructed to do so, we are told to spread it to the lost so they can be saved and experience the love and joy as well.
It is not just for us. I think maybe you have misinterpreted "our" actions and our words. Which is pretty easy to do considering it is online and you can't really see the other persons body expressions.

First of all, you are right, in the sense of the prideful and arrogant thing. You see, pride is not a virtue, but rather a defect ( The fear of the Lord is to hate evil:pride, and arrogancy, and the evil way, and the froward mouth do I hate. Prov. 8:13) Jesus taught us to be meek and humble (Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me, for I am meek and lowly in hear; and ye shall find rest unto your souls. Matth.11:29) (Behold I send you forth as sheep in the midst of wolves: be ye therefore wise as serpents, and harmless as doves. Matth.10:16) But I must also add this, being a living breathing testimony of Gods awesome power, I will pride myself in this "But God forbid that I glory, save in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom the world is crucified unto me, and I unto the world. Galatians 6:14. When you have seen the merciful, forgiving, miracle working hand of God work in your life, and your families lives, you can't help it but to boast about it. And it's really not boasting, but praising Him, for who He is , for what He's done, and for what He's promised to do.

The humility is in the living of the faith, if someone who cliams the faith but is prideful and arrogant, they are not living by the faith.
Watch the believer and you will know by their actions if they are true the thier faith or not. Judge the walk not the talk.

You sound like a government stooge or a government prompted stooge who can't accept the fact this is a time of silence. Only a govo stooge is pushing where he shouldn't be. Hope this is not true in your case. The consequences are quite serious.

Why are you so judgmental and wrathful in yours? Who are you to say that we are arrogant and prideful? Who are you to state something that only God knows in our hearts?
