i read the book, and then I realized i need literary elements. I can't read the whole book again!

That book is deep, it is amazing in fact. YOu should do yourself a favor and read the whole thing. YOu will find so much in it that speaks to todays culture and society. In school I wrote a whole paper on how the song hotel california could have been used in that book as they traveled. Good luck.

Read the first part about the turtle in the road. That should be plenty. It's actually a summary of the whole book.
